Hi, I’m Samantha, I’m 17 years old and I’m from Hastings, New Zealand. I am in my final year at High School and am the Academic Leader for my school. I play the flute in the school orchestra and take speech lessons. Currently I am completing my Diploma in Public Speaking and Communication and just passed the Certificate in Professional Speaking. I enjoy helping others and finding solutions to problems. I have a strong interest in Science and in particular Biology. Next year I hope to study science at university, majoring in Ecology and Nutrition. I love the outdoors and I hope to have a career which combines that with my desire to help make a difference in the world. I am excited to be a part of the GVN Foundation and look forward to working hard to make a difference in the lives of others. As this is my first year taking part in ESTC I am nervous yet enthusiastic about hosting my own events and encouraging the participation of others.
