Hi! My name is Anne O'Neil, I'm from Des Moines, Iowa--USA and I am honored to be apart of GVN's Eat So They Can campaign!  It is really inspiring to connect with people all around the world with a common purpose! My main motivation is to give back the many opportunities I've been blessed with to those that are in need. A few of the other missions I've been involved with are the Special Olympics and Basketball as a Mission. As a former athlete in college, I realize the importance of health and nutrition, and I find the emphasis of ESTC's sustainability vital for long term growth in these impoverished communities (the focus of my internship is in support of the Shining Stars Children's Home in Badikhel, Nepal). Additionally, I love to travel, meet new people, eat great food, participate in a number of sports, dance to any kind of music, help those in need......that is ashort list, but a good starting point for some fun get-togethers! :)
