Our partner organization in Vietnam was founded in August 2009 by Mr. Terry Donnelly of Australia, himself a long-term volunteer. Funds raised through Eat So They Can for Vietnam will be used to supply Milk Formula to Orphanage programs located in Hanoi, Ba Vi, Ho Chi Minh City and Tam Ky.
Milk is a major expense item for all Orphanages and occasionally babies are weaned off milk and onto a rice diet much too early, severely affecting their nutritional balance and their growth rate.
We hope that through the Eat So They Can program that we can ease the financial burden of the Orphanage programs and contribute to the health and wellbeing of the babies that will be the major beneficiaries of this program.
Did you know... that it costs approximately $1.50 per day to provide a baby with the milk that they need to thrive.
