Global Volunteer Network

thecolin Founded in 2000, The Global Volunteer Network (GVN) is a private, Non Government Organization based in Wellington, New Zealand. GVN's vision is to connect people with communities in need. Employing the idea of 'local solutions to local problems' GVN supports the work of local community organisations in various countries through the placement of international volunteers.

The number of people volunteering through GVN continues to grow. Since 2002 GVN has placed over 10,000 volunteers in countries throughout the world. GVN currently has volunteer positions available through partner organisations in Cambodia, China, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Ghana, Honduras, India, Kenya, Nepal, New Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Romania, South Africa,Thailand, Uganda, USA, and Vietnam.
