Eat So They Can 2007
The inaugural Eat So They Can event took place in conjunction with World Food Day on the 13th of October 2007. Thousands of participants from all over the world took part in our one collective dinner party which raised over USD $37,000 to help stop child poverty.

The GVN family kicked off the worldwide dinner party in New Zealand with a delicious dinner at the beautiful vineyard, Alana Estate, and as the sun traversed the earth, Eat So They Can fundraisers sprung up across Australia and Asia, followed by Europe and Africa, the Americas and Canada- making it a truly global event!

Kenya Children's Fund
Funds raised through the tremendously successful 2007 Eat So They Can benefited the Kenyan Children's Fund, which supports orphanages and schools in Kenya by providing access to immediate needs and long term development training.

Grand Prize Winner
As an added bonus to help get people involved with the first Eat So They Can Event, GVN and the GVN Foundation generously offered a grand prize trip to Kenya for one lucky dinner host to help distribute the funds to our partner projects!
